Absolutely useless

This app crashes immediately after opening. Do not waste any time.

Haha, what a joke

Would have paid for the app (always do, I am also a dev) but wanted to do a test run and make sure it was worth it. Decided to edit a gopro movie so I could throw it quickly onto my phone to Instagram it. Spent the time to do a quick edit, then wasted another 10 minutes to convert and export after they gave me the warning about the watermark. Cool, I thought, probably a small watermark across the bottom. Nope! A huge one right in the middle on top of the screen. Since you won’t warn users about a minor detail that thier efforts will be unusable, I will not buy your pro version and will not recommend it in any way.

Red When Uploaded

I tried to upload this to youtube and it always shows up with this red bar saying movie edit pro, its really annoying beacause i just want it gone, does anyone know how to do that? other than that its a good editor

THE PROGRAM I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!

I started out using the old iMovie HD that was out around 2006, and I absolutely loved it. It was easy to use, had a good timeline set up, and was very user-friendly and to the point, for someone who does small video editing as a hobby. Unfortunately, around 2009, iMovie’s format had changed, and it was not easy to use at all, it was a massive headache. For years, I’ve looked for a program similar to the old iMovie, but could not find one… until I stumbled on this program. It looks and works just like the old iMovie. Everything is easy to find, all of the clips have images of all of the frames on them (versus just the first frame) so that you don’t have to manually sift through every frame to select what you want. My only gripe is that I wish there was a type of “shelf” where you can place clips you’re not working with at the moment, and I wish there was a little more audio control, but those are just small inconveniences that I can work around. I still love this program and I was so happy to find an affordable, easy to use, yet still high quality one like this!

Wow I’m glad I installed this!

I almost didn’t install Movie Edit Pro because I saw lots of bad reviews on the former version. Lucky for me, the previous reviewer wrote a detailed review that confirmed a lot of features that are valuable to me. I, too, have been frustrated with the recent versions of iMovie, which is essentially uneditable given that you can’t easily select a portion of a clip and delete it. I wanted a movie editor that i can quickly make very simple edits to clips. I don’t make movies for entertainment; I record video of work performance that I use in my own self-assessment and profesional development. So I’m not someone who needs all that fancy stuff that iMovie has; I just want to cut out miles of unnecessary recording that have to happen while waiting for the work session to begin, and get to the parts I need to study. Or cut out pieces that show someone else inadvertently wandering into the video, things like that. Such a simple feature right? Now I can do that simply and quickly again, thanks to Movie Edit Pro. Thanks to the developers for offering this. Thanks also to the previous reviewer, Ms. Ashley, for motivating me to give this app a try.

Worthless.

If I could sue for wasting the 1 min I spent downloading this garbage, I would. The app does not work properly, video lags whie editing. Final cut has the watermark “Move Edit Pro” across the screen. Useless.

Audio out of sync

The video playback is slower than the audio playback. This is useless for editing clips together that are dependent on the audio track. This app is great if you don’t need your videos to make sense.

Not Worth It

It was SO hard to use and a waste of time.
